A drop in a cup of Milk.by SharQComment: A little bit uninspiring compared to some of the other splash shots. There isn't much tonal depth, and the composition is a bit loose. A tighter crop might have been better. |

Modern Romanceby magnetic9999Comment: The way the white rose blends into the milk is interesting, but the roses look a bit too soggy for my liking. I don't like the way the milk makes them droop and glisten in the light. Nice composition and lighting though. |

Strawberry Splashby jodiecostonComment: Good splash shot. The burst of red colouring against the milk is lovely, and the shadows work well to define the splash against the background. Nice compostion. |

Alright, Who's Got the Hot Milk?!!by AntithesisComment: I think it's a very interesting photo, but doesn't fit the challenge in any obvious way other than by relying on the title. Is it one of those Japanese game shows where they torture each other in strange ways? Very weird and interesting, just not about milk. |

Barely Sqeezed Inby jimmyn4Comment: Oh, I see, it's inside a fridge. Not a very interesting photo. Actually, there is one thing I like about it... the DOF you used makes that bottle in the back on the right really nice and soft. The composition is good in that it supports the idea in the photo and the title well. |

Just blackby vjozComment: Mmmm.... coffee. Everything about this shot is well done - the lighting, camera angle, composition, and the processing you did to get these colours. I like the grain, although I'm sure others have commented on it. I'm giving this 10. |

Café au Laitby AzrifelComment: Pretty porcelain, but the background is dull and the shot has little to keep my interest. With some better lighting and shallow DOF, this could be a more interesting shot (there are tutorials about these things on the site). |

Spilledby GraciousComment: I find this photo interesting and creative. It tells a little story, and uses visual elements that are composed in a slightly surreal way... chaotic but obviously arranged with a lot of thought. It's hard to get a sense of perspective here, and the cat is motion blurred, but somehow I like it :). |

Milk Mustacheby svitalComment: Cute, but an almost square crop on a portrait doesn't work well, compositionally. The background is also so close to the back of her head that the shadows of her hair interfere with the look of the photo by making it seem blurry around the edges. |

Not a dropby DezComment: Nice glass. I really enjoy the textures I can see here, and the camera angle is cool. The black background is nice too. The DOF you used is interesting... not sure if it works or not. Actually, I think it does, because it pulls the eyes down to that cow print image on the glass. I have a feeling that I'd have liked some more negative space around the image... maybe above the glass? The tight frame just makes it a bit bland to me. |
