good and evilby Jaded_HousewifeComment: If that wisp of hair running past the corner of her mouth were moved over (or removed) you'd have an even nicer yin/yang effect. |

chele esqueby Jaded_HousewifeComment: The gritty/grainy feel works really well here.
Sometimes if I want to accentuate the grain/noise and I'm planning to end up with a B&W, I'll just copy the Blue Channel to a new Grayscale image. |

?by Elvis_LComment: Reminiscent of the scene near the end of Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey ... very nice effect. |

SD4: Exit Stage Left!!by cginoComment: Whenever I try motion-panning on animals, I find I'm zoomed-in too far and can't get them in the frame with any reliability. With more MP available to you, I suggest pulling back to a little more wide-angle setting and cropping in later -- that's certainly what I'm planning next time I'm trying it. |

Day Fiveby Bear_MusicComment: From the pattern, it looks like the center of a composite flower.
Warm colors and bold "strokes" give it quite a painterly look to me -- maybe a take on "Sunflowers"? |

Boyby xianartComment: I like the strong diagonals in the composition. I'd like to compare with a version where the eyes are not quite so super-sharp -- it makes it look a bit artificial when it's really a completely natural capture.
PS: The eyes look good in the thumbnail -- I think I was a little surprised at the difference between the small and large versions. Message edited by author 2007-08-04 21:13:38. |

gorkby yankoComment: As mentioned, a great Hallowe'en shot, though I'd probably shift the color of the eyes to a more pronounced orangy-red (though it should be noted that those are colors I don't see well!). |

thelook.jpgby drz01Comment: I'd like to see it with the green background darkened up considerable, letting the ladies in the center "glow" and be the focus of attention -- right now the brightness of the background tends to draw my eye away from them. |
