Eye in the Skyby pointandshootComment: Nice catch -- I keep trying to get one of an airplane flying across the Moon, but they've either been a little too far off or I didn't have usable camera (or settings) at the time. |

15/15by wei1108Comment: I wish I could still move that fast ... when I was in college we had a couple of tables available 24 hours a day, and used 'em ... ;-) |

Last Train To Chattanoogaby JulietNNComment: Lighting, especially near the top, provides a reminder of what it might have been like to travel in this car in its day. I've traveled by train a fair amount recently -- way different from the hyped-up First World lifestyle ... |

Comet Lulin, 2 24 09by MelonMusketeerComment: Congrats on capturing this -- I knew it was coming, but it's been cloudy here, even if I had the equipment to try shooting it. Message edited by author 2009-02-25 22:36:45. |

On The Houseby EGoobieComment: Congratulations -- you have some other fine shots in your portfolio too! My son Isaac has also beaten me head-to-head in a challenge, though he hasn't advanced his photography nearly as much as you have.
Keep up the great work! |

04 - Truckinby VitaminBComment: Reminds me of one of those "Mad Max" type of movies ... certainly takes it out of the realm of "ordinary." Probably not the way I'd have edited the original, but it effectively conveys a "mood" or "feel" ... |

Batgirl from Belowby cginoComment: I really like the unique perspective your situation set up, and your processing and border work fine. |

Number 5 - The Buffalo by KelliComment: Given that it looks as though your original was overexposed, I think your high-key approach works well. I like how with such a minimum of data, you can still get such a sense of the wispy nature of the fur. |

Old building rusticby MelethiaComment: I definitely prefer this version -- I think it fits the feel of the place much better.
I make all my B&W/duotones "by hand" so I don't know how much control that action gives you, but I think I'd have used a somewhat different "second" color ... not sure though If I'd go warmer or cooler -- I usually experiment a bit to see what works. |
