Time in Memorialby ImagineerComment: Interesting that this and K-Rob's shot The Pier are displayed next to each other, because I couldn't help but look at your flat background and think about dropping a faded New York skyline into that space, and there was the source image right next to it.
It's a great idea, good compositionand exposure, cool clock. The numbers are "stacked" LEDs? I have a very primitive calculator made with numbers like that. Message edited by author 2003-09-11 18:29:59. |

Are we there yet?by myqylComment: As I mentioned in the thread about this shot, maybe you'd have been better off leaving out the title, forcing people to figure out "how does this represent repetition?" I think most people (not just parents) would get it then -- it IS a very cliché phrase.
Or if you're going all-out for humor and not worrying about the score (as you said in your comments), have her hold up a little sign with the caption on it ... then no one could say the photo didn't "speak for itself." |

Neoclassicalby magnetic9999Comment: Flower, pet, kid, macro, Jefferson Memorial ... work 'em into any challenge!
It's one of my favorite buildings there too -- someday I hope to see it in person. Nice job, as usual. |

Get to the Pointby StevePaxComment: I'd try to lighten the shadows just a touch to show up the ends of the crayons a little better. |

Abstract Repetitionby pncowleyComment: I like the idea and composition but would try other color schemes; it seems too flat to be exciting. Doesn't mean this mightn't be the best in the long run though .... |
