Emerald Morningby mpetersComment: Nicely composed. Like how the waterway leads one to the open waters then to the sunset. I like the framing by the trees. |

To the fountainby PennyStreetComment: I like how all the lines lead one to the fountain and activity around the fountain. I like that the left path/walkway is off set. I like how the horizontal lines of the buildings funnel one to the fountain.
The sun doesn't bother me, but I wonder if you got marked down by other voters.
My top pick.

trophyby NiallOTuamaComment: I had to look at this multiple times. It's different from the rest and for that it stands out. I like the b&w and the processing. Like it for it's abstract feel to it. My top top. |

First Lightby glad2badadComment: Just wondering if you had an alternative processed version that was "brighter"/less dark.
Reading through the comments, seems most liked the moodiness of this version. |

First Lightby glad2badadComment: I really like this, with the drama of the clouds and the rays of light, and just the front of the kayak. However, it just seems a bit too dark overall. Just an opinion though. |

Harborby LydiaComment: I like the impression this gives of a full harbor/bay. It reminds me of how the river in my city is socked full of pleasure crafts during the summer music festival at a river front park. An 8 for the impression it gives me. |

Lake Huron Fishingby peterComment: One of my favorites of this challenge. I rarely read the titles, but yeah, lets go fishing. |

Ferry Boatby markwileyComment: There's two photos in this challenge that I particularly like. Yours is one of them. I like the context and content of this photo; it tells me a story. I like the motion/"action" of the ferry cutting through the water, in conjunction of the lull, waiting to get to the other side to continue one's trip. I like the "balance" of the photo that's contingent with the lady that's looking to the left of the frame. My top pick.
(Wonder if this is in the Seattle, WA area. I know they have a lot of ferries in that area.) |
