I hate to say this, but as reflection shots go, this is rather pedestrian. It also look washed out - nothing terribly interesting to look at. I might have taken a little more time to grab something closer to place in the foreground so that the color could be more effectively used.

There is one flaw, well at least it's a flaw to me, and that's the darker image of the subject at the top. It would have worked better if the entire body had the ghostly effect.

Boats and the City

There is one thing about this image that I'll bet money nobody caught - the sail boat masts moving and creating a building image on the right. Very interesting the way it worked out - took me a minute to understand what I was looking at. Which is what a photograph should do - create interest in the details. Well done.

Suburban Shooting.

Much like the flowing water technique, fireworks are fireworks - lots of color and not much else. In this case, some care was taken to get other interesting features and it works. The whole feel of the image is exciting and the colors are not blown through as often is the case. Nice image.

I think color would have been better. This has an impressionist feel to it and color would have enhanced that effect.

Cold Capped

Winter imagery is always difficult as trees are bare and contrasting color is hard to find. Plus, most photographers have trouble with making snow white rather than blue. This is a good example of how it should be done - lots of nice pleasing colors, the mood is peaceful and relaxing and the snow is white. Very nice image - I'd like to see it place in the top ten.

Squiggly lines are squiggly lines - it might have been better to outline something with the lights or draw something - something interesting.
