Blue moonby ScapeshotsComment: I'm not a huge fan of single color tone images, but for some odd reason this works very nicely. Great concept, nicely detailed, properly titled - a very good entry into the challenge. Well done. |

Midwayby Yo_SpiffComment: A little darker than one might expect it to be given the slight over saturation of color. I might have backed off on the saturation a tad. Still, a very nice image. |

The Archby romilComment: This image probably isn't to everyone's taste, but it is very symmetrical and pleasing. I like the earth tones and the shadows and highlights were controlled
and not evened out. A good solid entry. |

Diner Timeby KroburgComment: A good natural pose and shot. I'm not all that happy with the soft focus surrounding the subject, but the detailed subject makes that a minor issue. A very good natural world image. Well done. |

The Glassblowerby Bear_MusicComment: Everybody should pay attention to this image because of its perfection. The exposure is perfect - the orange glass ball is not over or under exposed, the colors are perfect without being over saturated, the bokeh adds to the image rather than subtracts, the obviously strong hand holding the globe is detailed, the detail of the wet leather, the very slight reflection of the glass furnace on the globe - absolute perfection. It would be very hard to find an image as perfect as this anywhere in any competition. If there were any justice in the world, this would be the winner hands down. Perfect imagery. |

The Perfect Calmby MAKComment: This is just a comment on the image as it is, not how I'm going to vote. In my opinion, the author might have exposed the foreground with a follow on shot that gives a little more detail to the image. There is a lot there that would enhance the "wow" factor. Having said that, on the other hand, the black foreground works against the colored sky giving it an air of mystery and intrigue. The balloonist being black also adds that "mystery". I like this a lot and a worth challenge entry. |

Gull U-Turnby bobnospumComment: My original thought was that a little better crop, say a 1/4 off the bottom, would have helped the "wow" factor a little more, but testing that theory with the browser slider bar showed me that I would be wrong. A great action shot, very precise and detailed. The areas where you would expect to see white washout are perfect. Almost no obvious motion blur at all although there is some - you just don't see it naturally, but have to look for it. Great image - great action shot. Well done. |

Gatewayby myqylComment: I've been within two feet of where this shot was taken. :>) I like the overall ambiance this generates but the colors seem weak - the amount of "punch" that this image should generate just doesn't exist. Still, the image invokes a sense of peace and tranquility. Nice effort. |

Flying Highby pharryComment: Great action shot, although the action takes place more to the right than I would have liked. Then again, timing is everything. Very nice entry into the challenge. |

Lines in the Skyby Alex_PetriniComment: I like star images like this. My only complaint is that, to me anyway, there needs to be a little less foreground and more of the sky. But that is a nit pick. Very nicely done. Great composition. |
