Almost forgottenby hajekaComment: Greens and low light do not make for a good image. Some back lighting or perhaps low level flash - even more exposure time would have made this a better image. |

Oasisby Les_FeckComment: Photos often rely on the "story" effect - in short, the image should tell a story or allow the viewer to create a suitable story to fit the image. Snap shots unfortunately are for photo albums and this is a good competent snapshot. |

Impression of a lily pondby PaulComment: Creative imagery can bring abstract concepts and ideas to the viewer. In this case, the attempt is a good one, but it falls short of being a Impressionist style effective image. |

The Body in Retreatby posthumousComment: Lighting is a subject that can try the viewer's patience. Light should be used to its maximum potential to reveal what's important in the image and to set the overall tone of the photo. Again, not to be hurtful, but this is an example of how not to expose an image with minimal lighting. |

The Sudden Streamsby SilaenozComment: The tight side-to-side aspect of this image detracts from its over all impact. I suspect it was cropped to get the best water flow effect, but it has no context. |

Yosemite Morningby NeilComment: A good sound commercial stock image - not spectacular, but certainly competent. |

Back Lawnby LydiaComment: Sharp focus is one of the first things that viewers notice. In this case, sharper focus would have made this a very good entry, but the colors reduce the sharpness by a large factor. A little more thought into this would have helped a lot. |
