I like it but it is a little more contrast than I like to see in this kind of portrait. Having said that, the extra white space is nicely handled however it washes out part of the hand at the window. A good effort.

Sometimes we try to hard to get exactly the right light and the right focus and the right position. This is a good example - the right side of the face (her right, our left)is very grainy and detracts from what is actually a very good portrait.

Shuffle Up and Deal!

From an artistic standpoint, this works fine. It could also have worked with a higher shutter speed and a little more definition in the card shuffle. In either case, it is a nice image and composition. Nice job.

The Deadly "Queen of Hearts" Assassin Strikes Again

The technique is called "scaling" and it's a favorite staple of The Joker. In theory, using a card can be an effective "weapon" as the world speed record for a scaled card is 95 mph. Just thought you'd like to know. Just as a thought, instead of the Ace of Hearts, might have been fun to use the Joker. Get it?

Great image and one demonstrating something not normally thought of. Love the grain and imagery in general. Top fifteen if not a top ten.
