Getting Up Steamby SteveJComment: Great subject, I can see where you're going with the B&W to give the photo an old fashioned look (at least that's my guess), but I don't think this particular conversion does the subject justice.
It seems to be lacking in contrast a little and the greys tend to blend together. |

Living on the Edgeby ekmaiComment: Great landscape shot, and I think you've taken it at the perfect time of day as well, with all the city lights visible but still not too dark that that's all there is.
The sky for me is also a really interesting part of the shot, and I think I would like it more if you had left a bit more sky along the top. |

Exit Stage Rightby wetlandComment: Nicely timed, I like the way the bird seems to be taking a leap away.
It does look to me as if you've sharpened this a little heavily, it's not obvious in the bird itself, but rather in the OOF background where you can see a lot of harsh lines around the blurred areas and that has become quite prominent. |
