A Gate for the Godsby tamatamaComment: This is a difficult shot to me. I don't like the colors and the light, it's to man made and artificial to me. But the execution and technique is flawless. 7 |

Aloneby LawtonComment: The duck coud benefit from a bit more contrast, and the ducks path in the water could also be enhanced in some way. Darkened the V shape behind it maybe. 6 |

On Morning pondby AmmieComment: Back lit landscapes are difficult to shoot because you will always have a very bright area, but this has a good feel to it and is technically ok performed. 7 |

The Fly Fishermanby ThingFishComment: I would've darkened the background since the action is the fisherman. Or done the complete opposite; focused on the background making it look good and hid the fisherman further down in the right corner as a pleasant surprise for those looking at a photo for more than 5 seconds. Now it kinda looks like both is in focus, and that makes it messy for me. 6 |

Schuylkillby banmornComment: It has a film quality look to it that I'm instinctually rejecting because I hate digital trying to behave analog. That being said this is a beautifull photograph that should be rewarded for what it is; a beautifull photograph. 8 |

Doggy Paddleby Shifty_PowersComment: There's something about this that seems off balanced in a way, I think it's the bright area in front of the dog, and the current in the foreground doesn't add to the photograph in any way; the water is already beautifully presented. The story in the photo is good, and I like the colors. 7, since I'm a dog owner and lover |
