The Dinersby markwileyComment: This image has caused me to stop and pay attention. That means it is in my 7-10 voting band. (Voted earlier)
Additionally, it is highly interesting/eclectic meaning it keeps me here long enough to offer a longer comment and a vote of 8 or more.
This is one of my 10s - I like it very much. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:
1. Gorgeous image - life in a frame.
2. Super-great clarity
3. Excellent sense of depth
4. The story
5. Your use of the frame within the frame
Overall a lovely and engaging image. |

1. Fantastic tones
2. The jagar characteristic smooth glow / sharpness combo - I haven't seen that since you moved away from from your Fuji
3. Fantastically engaging subject
4. Really super composition
5. Perfectly judged vignette / edge burn
Overall this an amazingly image that transports us elsewhere.

1. What an ambience you have captured!
2. Wonderful tones
3. Engaging subjects
4. Amazing light
5. Great and confident use of space and how to use it to excellent effect
6. The great vignette, I like how it steers the eye.
Overall, I wouldn't be surprised if this takes the Blue. I suspect it will engage those with conventional photographic tastes as well as those who reward the more eclectic. |

1. Superbly bold and simultaneously subtle
2. I love the overlap of the figures/reflections
3. The subtle nudity, mannequin?
4. The coloration and the grain
Overall this an amazingly engaging image - one that shuns convention for something altogether more interesting.

1. I'm a fan of blur - this is an easy pick for me
2. Great POV, we don't see much from these sorts of perspectives
3. The faded tones, again - I'm a fan
4. The beast itself, headless and ambiguous - great stuff
Overall, a lovely image that shuns a conventional aesthetic for something far more engaging. |
