Nice! Not a bird person, but have to say...this is fantastic. He or she seems sinister and I like that. The way you captured the feathers, him/her and the branch makes me see that. Plus the eye is just hard staring at me. Hands down a solid 10 in my book.

Not sure if you were going for shock value but none-the-less, the photo was shot well. Decent lighting, ok focus and the colors seem to be good. Again, interesting shot. 6

Shot tight and or a tight crop. Either way, works well. You did a great job capturing the textures on his/her skin. Such depth to the feathers and face. Then, as a kicker, the eye really shows well. 8
