The b/w conversion here makes everything camoflauged and the bird gets lots in all the confusion of the branches.

They seem pretty uninterested in each other to be really best friends. I think showing more interaction between the two, or at least a smile on one of their faces could've gotten your message across better.

Interesting, the reds are nice, I dont' like the green grass in the back or the bottle in the front blocking the dragon's mouth.

Looks like a flash was used. For action shots with depth, you need more lighting than a flash. In your shot, the kicker's hands are darker than the goal posts, since the flash was not able to fill the frame in time.

Slightly blurred/out of focus. Try a faster shutter speed if it is in fact blur. I would prefer to see it framed to the left more (more cat, less black space).
