Heh, definitely got marked down for the religious aspect - all those 1s, 2s, and 3s. But I think the overall score is a fair one; as people said, the background was a bit distracting. Anyway, great image, and one of my top picks for the challenge - thank you for sharing it with us.

Quite an emotive shot here. I imagine a wide range of comments & opinions are showing up on this one. Subject-wise it fits the challenge just fine for me. Photographically, the DOF works and it's well focused. The bg seam is a distraction that may have been eliminated with a seamless bg or a slight adjustment using curves. Nonetheless, good luck in the challenge.
