Droughtby IntelliComment by Shanny403: Very cool that you composed the picture more on the shadow than the actual flower. The subdued colors definitely gives you the feeling of a drought as well. |

Droughtby IntelliComment by Revecca: Did you intentionally take away some of the saturation in this picture? |

Nby IntelliComment by bassbone: excellent work - the lighting really emphasizes your facial expression |

Nby IntelliComment by Louis: Nicely executed. Light's great, the portrait itself subtle and well presented. Thank you so much for not going jokey, like everyone else. For that reason, in this challenge even such a restrained portrait as this can be called "dignified". 8 |

Caldwell Zooby IntelliComment by geinafets: I love the color of the elephant, but I wish the green wasn't as saturated because I feel like it competes with the elephant. Nice shot! |

Caldwell Zooby IntelliComment by Lydia: Lovely textures and color. I think I would have cropped out the green... but that's just my opinion. The processing makes this look like a leather sofa. I like it. (not voting) |

Caldwell Zooby IntelliComment by vawendy: nice idea, but I'm not sure it works. The green on the right really pulls your eye away. I like the off center, but I think it would have been stronger if you cropped the leaves off. there really isn't a need to see his/her whole rear end, and it would have drawn the eye to the face instead. |
