Mayby you should try different colours of light to make it more interesting

Tweakyby Photolover081603Comment by mirdonamy: I love cats, and I do not vote them down, but for artistry, this shot is not high on my list. Try clurring the background or getting closer to the eyes. It's a bit over contrast, but not much. Good placement.

Tweakyby Photolover081603Comment by arpboy: Nice look at your cat, but the background is distracting. The details on your cat are blown out. Background is also too dark against the subject.

Tweakyby Photolover081603Comment by Fayech: given the drab background, i think this may have been a stronger image had it been b/w. the other objects distract from the subject.

Tweakyby Photolover081603Comment by Mick: Nice angle. Looks like a little midget cat with no arms. Cropping out everything but the cat may have been better though.

Tweakyby Photolover081603Comment by HBunch: did you use flash? kind of looks like it the way the cats face is blown out and the rest of the photo is dark. flash, or a really powerful lamp with directed light. anyway, I do think the face has gotten too bright. focus on the kat is a little soft, but the focus on the seat of the chair is great. see how we get a lot of texture on the seat? I wish we could have that texture on the cat instead. looks like the auto focus focussed on the seat instead of the cat. good point of view. I like looking down on things in photos like this. ~Heather~
