Bomb The City Ninja Styleby nakedseedComment by sfalice: GREETINGS FROM THE CRITIQUE CLUB
Congratulations, You found a nice scene, perfect for the Challenge, and photographed it well and processed it well.
You also received a nice score for this difficult Challenge. So, you have left me little to critique. However, there is one point I will suggest. The hot spot where the sky and shops show through the 'artwork.' I realize that, in basic editing, you couldn't blur the area out or dull it down; you were stuck with it.
But at the scene, if you could have moved that tripod (good idea to use it, btw) just a little to block out the street & sky it might have made this good image even better. I hasten to say "you were there, I wasn't." Such a move might not have been possible, or would have made the picture less interesting.
So, I'll just close by saying "good work" and I hope this critique has been helpful to you. |

Unidentified Floating Objectsby nakedseedComment by snaffles: Greetings from the Critique Club!
Not a bad shot, the composition is there with a good try at leading lines. However the red/blue light is dangerously close to the frame, I agree with Nadine in terms of the balance of the lights.
Close down the f-stop, then open up the shutter. Get as much dof as you can, unless you are going for a bokeh shot. Scene is a little static, only the colour draws the eye to the right hand light.
FWIW, if this is doable and you feel like playing around and have a tripod, try this: return to this location with your red/blue lights. Stop down as much as you can, leave the shutter open long enough (bulb setting, possibly) and relocate the lights so they are underneath all three lights in their turn. That way you should get all 3 lights in focus with similar lighting on them.
Hope this helps, keep up the good work!
Feel free to PM me with any questions,
Susan |

Unidentified Floating Objectsby nakedseedComment by Nadine_Vb: Now this is nothing more than personal taste: did you try moving a bit more to the right? I.m.o. this would have created more balance in the photograph as the space between the 3 lights would have been divided more equally. |

Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dustby nakedseedComment by joeyz101: I really like looking at this photograph. I can feel it a lot more than the others, which I guess is the goal. The angle is very nice and I really like that tree, great job! 9 |
