    Biography: I started photography back in 5th grade as part of an afterschool program. We took black and white photos and processed them ourselves. My father bought me my first film SLR a few years later. I was one of the main photographers at my high school, taking candids at events and sports. At UCONN, I joined the yearbook staff as a photographer. In my free time, I was taking photos of everything I could find, most nature shots. A few years after graduating I got a 5" SC telescope from my wife as a wedding gift. I started to get into astrophotography but found the costs of CCD cameras above my interest level. So, I decided to get my first dSLR. Now, I'm enjoying the hobby a lot more and learning a lot of new techniques.
