During the sign-up phase of this season, 12 teams were created, and 12 of those were finalized. In the end, only 12 teams made the cut.
Note: The team percentile cap was set at 60.00% for this season.

The teams were seeded by averaging all teammate's received percentiles on their last 10 challenges. If a team member had not submitted to 10 challenges, as many entries were used as available. The highest seeded team was Frame Hunters with a seed average of 58.4036%, while the lowest was Team Spleen with a seed average of 42.5066%.
