I have no idea where this concept idea came from, but I think it's pretty obvious what it's about. The hardest part was coming up with a title to convey the whole idea. I don't think I came close enough with this title.

The light:
- Flash on-camera bounced off white ceiling.
- Silver side of a 5-in-1 reflector cover on a table in front of model.
- Flash behind model bouncing off the half silver/half gold side of a 5-in-1 reflector hung from the ceiling behind model camera right. About 3 feet from model.
- White shoot-through part of a 5-in-1 reflector behind model (head height) camera left. About 5 feet from model.

I saw you post in the forum about feedback-
It's a well lit portrait, and interesting, to boot. The eyes are have a lot of allure, but are perhaps a bit overdone, in my opinion. The lighting on the hair is very nice and gives a good flow and texture to things. I'd like to see her shoulders moved in a bit of a manner so she doesn't quite look armless. I know you're obviously limited in that you presumably didn't want to show nudity, but angling raising the arms a bit or something would suffice.
Overall though, I think the biggest drawback is just that it wasn't entirely clear what we were supposed to be fooled by. Regardless of how you accomplished this, there are ways to do it both in PS and in camera. On the bright side, though, your shot made me think of this so consider yourself in excellent company :)

Beautiful. A real poetess. I say that it's A (real).

Nice shot and an excellent choice for the challenge - I am having a hard time deciding if this is fake or real. I can see quite easily how it could be done either way, or even be a bit of both - i.e. start off with a starburst from a small aperture, then exaggerate it via Photoshop. I think I'll go with that option :-)

Real? It looks photoshopped, but I think I know better. =)

Looks digitally added, buuut maybe she has something reflective in her mouth. Hard to say... either way, neat idea and well shot.

except if she was holding the flashlight in her mouth, I would say this has been manipulated

Very nice, although the light by her ear is disturbing to the image.

Not real. Reminds me that Uncle Fester in the Adams Family used to light light bulbs this way.

Based on the shadows on her face, I am going to guess this light was added in post-processing. I really like the way you processed the eyes. It's cool. I might suggest however, if you are going to process the eyes like that, that you might also soften or de-noise the skin. The combination of the processed eyes and unprocessed skin makes the skin look a bit more varied than it probably really is. Oh, I also really like the hair in this shot too.

I'm thinking this is real- as in she really has a light in her mouth? Cool idea!

cool idea...wish you took out the extra bit in her hair...actually i can't even figure out how it possibly got there.

I suppose this could be done either way: real, with a prism or reflective item in her mouth, or fake by adding the flare. Good one for this challenge. I'm guessing fake.

Not real and creepy in some ways.

I'm really trying hard to not leave a naughty comment about this, but the temptation is strong. I'll just leave you a good vote instead.
