Well I was hoping to get a 2nd chance at this shot. Here is the last one. //www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=718040 Lots of positive comments, but it just didn't come together like I wanted.

I managed to improve the glass in this shot. Even with advanced editing the last version just would not pop.

Multiple flashes from a small flash aimed at a backdrop, one flash above and in front through and umbrella, and a small flash light on the cookie. The ability to clone out some dirt on the glass made things really work.

I'm a bit confused as to why this shot did not do better than the last one. I used a flashlight to highlight the cookie. That seems to have cast some yellow/orange on to the milk in places. I can only assume that this had a significant negative perception impact. Here is a link to the original shot

Next time I should put a CTB filter on the flash light to correct the color temp.

Well I looked and saw a few oreo shots similar to this one so I don't know what the original was therefore I can't really comment on your improvement like I would like to for this challenge. However I can comment on this image. I am no lighting expert but the first thing that sticks out to me is the background highlighted area. I think it should be bigger. Also the choice of color lighting and the dark shade of it makes the picture look a little murky. I am kind of seeing some orange glow on the edges of the glass where the should be highlights from backlighting or side lighting. Other than those lighting issues, which I could not even come close to replicating, you have a clean, crisp image that makes me want to eat an oreo!

I really like this subject against the deep sapphire background. However, I'm feeling the overhead light is causing a bit too deep of shadows on the cookie.

This one seems familiar. Snaffles? At any rate, I recall the original. HUGE improvement on this. Should do well.

Great focus. On my monitor, though, the blue background is a tad "off." I can't think of the word, but sometimes if you adjust saturation, or levels, it gets this effect. I wish I knew the proper term.
