Thanks for the comments--this was a quick shot taken just before rain actually started coming down hard. Thanks to my wife for her great expression and pose, and for helping me out with this submission.

A bit too dark - could use some extra lighting on the model. Colors are bland - but increasing the lighting could succeed in producing vibrance. Cute photo, though.

Lanscape is Beautifull, you could be using the tree to show that your model is larger in size. the ambrella doesnt look like a true ambrella somebody could have been holding it from behind. She has a great expression that fits into the title.

It seems that I am rating all the funny pictures higher for this challenge. I'm thinking that the color is off but it might be because of the weather. Could be sharper too. But the concept and her expression are downright cute. I'd have never thought of this one. 8

I like this shot - it made me laugh when I saw it. I only wish you'd had better lighting on her face - maybe fill flash or had her looking up to catch more light? Good luck!

Excellent composition. The sky and lighting are exceptional as well. Your image would really benefit from a bit of fill flash on the models face.

Cute - more attention to detail would have made it better. take the black thing off her neck (her walkman head phones?) tilt the umbrella so it shows better. Focus on her face and let the background blur if it has to. I think the focus problem might be camera shake, not DOF. Try a tripod, or try metering on her face and keeping the shutter half depressed and recompose the shot. Besides being out of focus, her face is too dark. Since you want the background to look stromy, it would be ok to lighten her a little but not too much. It looks like there are more interesting clouds right behind her head than the clouds you have chosen to show. I love the concept and I love her expresiion and her upward glance. 7
