'Recipe'

2 rashers of bacon
2 sausages
1 egg
baked beans
fried bread
Toast
Cup o' tea

Not the best picture I have ever taken...and I still don't understand why it looked like I had the perfect DOF but when I got it on the PC more than I wanted is actually in focus :o( I am hoping this will do better than the 5.52 I got for this shot in 2006...

However, as I am not toally happy, I don't hold out much hope :o( Sorry in advance to my Olympic Team mates :o(

Nice work talj :-) I can't believe you were apologising to us - this is great! I think the DOF is fine, and the crockery is cool :-)

all that would have improved it is having something like salt and pepper mills in that gap at the top *runs and hides*

Woohoo, 12th!!! Would have thought an easy top 10, but a very strong finish all the same girly. I know, maybe it's because you left out the salt and pepper grinders?? LOL. Congrats!

You've gone a long way my friend. The difference between the 2006 shot and this is like night and day. This is an excellent culinary shot.

Nice shot, Natalya! I'm not at all surprised this one beat the other one by almost a full point. The brighter lighting alone is worth a higher score. :)

This is just wonderful and I almost want to reach out and eat it all except for the baked beans, as we call them '@#%#' beans.

Interesting perspective. The lighting is a bit flat but it kinda works in a strange way.

Now, this I like! The image is clean, crisp and appetizing looking, also very good colours. In fact, it's the first image that has made me feel hungry ;-) Hope it does well for you.

good composition, arrangement and lighting...the text on the plate doesn't go well with the shot.

I really like this, but I am not feeling the border, maybe it shouldve been thinner and gone all the way around 7

Hmmm looks delicious! I don't like the distortion from the lens though that's putting the mug at that angle and also making it seem larger at the top.

You know what this picture needs? I reckon it needs salt and pepper grinders sitting somewhere in the middle between the tea and toast. ;P

just a bit less brightness may have looked better for me.
