I like macro shots and DOFs that don't make people happy. What can I say?

BTW - this challenge did not say there had to be six of anything. I just saw the number 6 here and knew it had to be done. :) Please tell me you see it lol. (There are actually 3 of them in this pic)

Happy Birthday DPC!

I hope this scores a 6.6666 because that would be coooool.

Who said centered-subject compositions are boring! Love this, and great for the challenge.

An interesting concept and creative take on the challenge. I'll confess my eye is drawn more to the very bright areas behind the main subject clothes pin than the subject itself, though. This is particularly troublesome on the left-hand side of the photo where there are no interesting shadows crisscrossing the large blown area. I appreciate, however, that this may be a stylistic choice on your part, and again I do find this very creative.

Well I got the '6' straight away. I love the dof that you have used which gives the leading peg a real 3d feel to it. Great sharpness and textures on the front peg

This was one of my top picks for the challenge - VERY well seen and I love the monochromatic nature of it. Great title, too! Very nice work.

Love this shot and think it should have been above a 6.

Excellent macro approach to the challenge - the lighting and the complexity of the background really adds a lot of depth to this image
