Well, this will probably only make sense to me during voting, I bet. I did not have time to go out and get pretty landscape pictures with fences. Nor did I feel like it - it's just been ugly here.

So I was looking at my fence, with the curving wire and thought that it looked like a rail. And then I thought the posts looked almost like a suspension bridge - with the car there about to go thru a tunnel. If you did not see it before, I hope you see it now!

i was actually looking at jon jonfrommk's profile and comments received after noticing one of the lovely comments he'd given me when he was alive .. he used to always comment on my challenge entries no matter how they went ... i was feeling sad coz i miss him .. i thought i'd check our his favs and noticed this one of yours michelle .. just had to make a comment ..
WOW .. !!! .. its brilliant .. i really thought it was a real car on a road at first glance, altho a weird wooden type road !! .. how clever and how excellent .. typical that you didnt score a whole heap better .. its a bit out there for mr average i feel .. of course it totally appealed to me .. lol .. :)

Cool cool cool shot and one of my absolute favourites in the challenge.

I love the fact that when you first see the image it really does look like you have captured a car framed through a hole in a fence and it is only when you look at it more closely you realise it is a toy

Brillant sharpness and great bokeh in one, lovely black and white conversion.

An image that I cant tear my eyes away from

Wonderful and although you have scored higher in many challenges imo this is one of your best shots.

This is so amazing. It took me a long time to understand it. I thought it might be an accident that you stumbled upon. Eventually I say that it was an extreme closeup of a post and rail fence. Did you place a toy car there, or was that a real car done with some sort of weird perspective? Anyway I think it is very cool, and creative, and I like the b&w.

Heh - this is awesome! Took me a sec to figure out that it wasn't a real car. Love the idea and originality of your take on this challenge. Also, I'm very fond of the tones and processing. Excellent photo.

Great shot, Michelle. The car looks so real, I thought at first glance that this was an optical illusion with a fence in the foreground and a road far in in the back. Happy to have been one of your high scorers.

If someone didn't see it then they weren't looking, lol! Great idea and wonderfully executed. Another conversion and dof that is quite pleasing.

Part of the challenge description says: Make a photograph that features a fence in the composition. And to me this does not say that the fence has to be the focal point. It's an essential part of the composition tho, because without it, that car has no where to go :)

Cool, the one thing that caught my eye here was the matchbox car & it's wheels hanging off the edge.

I love how you have the car in its entirety showing through the hole in the fence. Nice idea!
