Last day and I was unable to get out so I wandered around the house with my 100 mm macro on looking for possibilities. On the landing at the top of my stairs I have a huge pottery crock filled with "cattails" that I created years ago. The "tails" are corduroy tubes in various colors, stuffed and gathered at the ends. The "stems" are wooden dowels. They stand willy-nilly in the crock and I shot straight down at them as I found them.
I like the image but don't find it inherently interesting enough for this sort of challenge, so I thought an unusual title might help. It reminded me of a bunch of wooden spoons in a pot which in turn made me think of the old adage "Too many cooks spoil the broth".

Love that so many saw spider webs and other ingredients of a witch's brew :)

funny, the title made me think those were noodles about to be boiled.

Interesting and well-composed image that melts into a handsome abstract.

I do see the spider web. Nicely contrasted tones.

Love this. Love the vanilla-caramel tones, love the mere hints of focus, love the beautiful, assured composition, love the insistent aroma that the picture suggests to me so irresistibly. Wish I was there. Thank you.

Texture vs. blurred wash in a bowl of contrast. Please sir, I want some more. Except the lone cobweb spindle. Pretty, but I've had my fill of that. Sweet photo.

Nice gentle blurring and a comfortable limited palette. Perhaps not enough here for me, but I think you've executed a particular vision really well.

I like seeing this whole rather than the thumbnail. In the whole it has more of a mystery to it. I'm not getting broth (especially with a spider web) but I am getting a plant, long forgotten.
