Thanks heaps. I do feel proud. I get asked by people viewing the exhibition, which is my favourite. I don't have a favourite. But when I look at each image...it brings back memories of the days I spent on this building...the smiles from the workers...the flooded floors from heavy rains...the tall ladders needed to climb on the roof (3 stories up). It was a lot of fun...but a lot of work.

The project hasn't been completed yet. I am prepping for the Major Opening in which Government Officials are flying up for it. I am designing the gifts to be given to each of the guests...they will have one of my drawings of the building on them.

I am very pleased in the fact that all of these frames were prebought by the Council so there is no worry about images being left over at the end. They will be displayed for ever more throughout the Council buildings.

On the first opening day (to the public), I was interviewed by a reporter. Whilst the article hasn't been published yet, the reporter did send me a couple of the images. In the about, I have explained what the small images behind me are. In the group image it shows, the Mayor, me and the CEO.

Also my 4meter image was featured in the newspaper in the background of a group shot of 4 mayors meeting over the amalgamation of shires deemed by the government. A historical image. Now that makes me proud.

Judi, That is big recognition to be chosen to produce the images for the exhibit, and I hope that it will open doors to many other opportunities for you in the future. Congrats, and good work.

Thanks Roba

I actually have to do a group photo of nearly 200 staff out the front of the building today...so while I am there I will grab some photos of the montages. That will save me time having to redo them in CS.

I am fortunate in the fact that all of the work was pre-purchased by the council...so I am not going to be lumbered with the frames after the exhibition. We have an official opening of the building on 8 September...so they will be on display till about the 10th, if you want to check it out...lol!!

Bump.

An entire year of hard work... and totally worth it! You must be ecstatic, Judi (and somewhat releaved that it's finally complete).

Looks like a great gallery, and you certainly earned the right to be the first exhibitor. It would be cool to see some of the construction images - do you have them posted somewhere? Or do we actually need to make the trip to view them ? ;o)

Big Congrats.
