I loved this shot when I first saw it. The way that the branches form a natural border around the mountain is very pleasing. Without breaking your neck, having a little higher vantage point to include more mountain and less lower branches would have shown us more of the majestic beauty of the mountain. You have enough color and interest in the branches that they aren't just clutter, they are something to look at as well. You have really captured a special place that not many people get to see. You have me wanting to go to the mountains. I'd like to see a reshoot with less lower branches, more mountain and a little less grain in the sky. Good job!

Beautiful framing to photo. Don't suppose the tree grew together and made a complete circle? Didn't think so. Coldn't be that lucky. Love looking at the mountain through the trees. I might have centered the mountain myself, taking a step or two to the right. Still a wonderful photo. Deserves this 8.

This photograph certainly doesn't need a border.. the natural frame is stunning. The mountain in the background is also very beautiful. The strange thing is that the colours are a bit dull.... A beautiful photograph nonetheless! Congratulations 8 -Annida

A pleasnt image to behold. I love the encircling sweep of the branches around the frame. An elegant touch. The detail in the conifers is also appreciated. Often these photos are just foreground silhouettes. The idea of lots of sky to express freedom/openess,etc definetely comes across here. Although it may not have been possible I personally would have liked a little more mountain top plus a few more bolder clouds to glide across the heavens. A good nature shot overall.

Are you serious! You stood on your deck and photographed this? I love the way the trees are fraiming the mountain (it is Rainier, right?) The clouds in the sky are perfect.
