    Biography: I have always been interested in photography. I think cameras are one of the most incredible, beautiful little devices! I own dozens of film cameras, and several digitals at any one time, just because I love them! But film was always tedious, and since I bought my first digital in 1999 (Olympus C340, $300) my skills and knowledge have incresed tremedously, and so has my love for the art. I do enjoy shooting some film now and then; usually medium format on my Mamiya 6 or trying completely manual exposures on some ancient camera that I found. But I have the film processed only, and usually scan the negatives myself and print what I want or just save the images digitally. Yeah, it's more work than digital, but it's a great challenge for digital editing skills as well as photography skills! I am also a musician (www.barbeez.com) so I guess I have a huge artsy side!
