    Biography: I'm a professional graphic designer currently working in the videogame industry, prior to that I worked as a broadcast designer for television for a number of years. I've always been interested in photography and started getting serious about making photographic images about 2 years ago. I have a great respect for pure photography, but its not what I do.

    Classifications bore me,but I'd consider myself a photoillustrator before calling myself a photographer. I see the camera as an image acquisition tool and not as my primary artistic medium. Medium format cameras, my D70, pinhole cameras, camera obscuras and a naked image sensor are all valid paths to image construction. In the end only the image matters.

    For me that image is inevitably digital. Not because digital is somehow better or worse than analog, but because it is part of a process in which I incorporate an array of external tools including but not limited to image processing software, 3D software, custom algorithms and scanning hardware.

    I joined this forum to share my work and learn from the many others out there making great images, however they choose to do so.
