I'm a photography nut. Admittedly, not the best or the most creative by far. But I'm learning and hopefully getting better at it, thanks to DPC. I started out with my father's Canon AE-1 and for a while lost interest but when I got a hold of my first digital camera, the Kodak DC290, I felt a renewed surge of interest in the hobby. I currently use a Canon 20D and although it is showing its age, it still takes pics like a charm.
My wife, Sujin, who has of late been a frequent target of my photography, has a Canon PowerShot S410 and also enjoys the hobby. She doesn't like it when I obsess over all those nice (and expensive) lenses and accessories that make SLR photography what it is, so consequently it's tough to get decent equipment! LOL! While photography is one of my main hobbies, my true passion and calling in life is medicine. I'm a hospitalist working in Southern California.
