    Biography: My passion for photography has grown as a creative outlet from my career as a visual user interface developer. My background in computers provides an understanding for the digital / post aspects of photography. I enjoy shooting in limited natural light conditions because it frequently allows me to convey a point of view and vision that I favor.

    What I find most inspiring is how the all the elements of a great shot including light, composition, and subject can be orchestrated and carefully aligned. However, its the random shots when a split second of foresight and correct judgement allowed you to to capture an image that is better than you could have ever fabricated, a true one of a kind. Its those moments when you realize that you have learned something new about the medium.

    I work full-time for Roundarch Isobar as a software consultant focused on User Interface development in Flash, Flex, and Java. I currently live in Wilmington, North Carolina.
