    Biography: Nice and friendly guy with various interests. I enjoy taking pictures, and even though I can't afford the camera of my dreams just yet, the Nikon D300s, I'm happy for now with the Nikon D80 and a 50mm, the kit 18-135mm and a cheap Sigma 70-300mm, purchased just recently. I know it sucks but I'm not made of money.

    The D300s's ISO capabilities is what makes me want it most. The D80 is far worse in terms of image quality on higher ISO levels, and I find it annoying because I can't afford super-expensive light sensitive Nikkor optics to make up for it.

    I'm a Nikon guy. Never wanted a Canon, but I'm not a fan boy either and I never discuss which brand is the best, because honestly, that's just ridiculous. Use what feels right for you. And if you contemplate buying a D80 or D90, see if you can get a second hand D200, instead. Or even better: a D300/s. It's very advanced, but not too advanced for a new photographer. Simply customize the menus by removing the most advanced options and put it back in later (even the D80/D90 let you customize the menus, by the way).

    Anyway, I hope to take some great pictures in 2010!
