    Biography: Greetings,

    Goals for 2009:
    -Shoot outdoor portrait photography in natural lighting
    -Spend as little time with computer enhancements as possible
    -Use as little equipment as possible
    -Determine which DSLR to purchase

    After receiving a free Cannon PowerShot, courtesy of an American Express promotion, I started taking digital photography more seriously. Prior to that I had a Sony Cybershot which I just did the old “point and shoot” types of family photos. And prior to that, I actually took photography seriously with a 35mm (film) Nikon SLR, my trusty 50mm Nikon lens and developing the film and prints at a friend’s home.

    Now I’m again working on composition and lighting. Also learning as much about DSLRs as I can so that I can upgrade to a camera that operates more like my original Nikon.

    Any tips or suggestions are graciously welcomed!
