    Biography: I've been using a digital compact for several years and decided to make the investment into digital SLR (May 2009). I'm amazed by some of the work I see here and look forward to participating and getting feedback.

    Some goals:
    Explore leaving the shutter open for more than a second or two
    Learn how to use an off-camera flash
    Get a photo up for my profile
    Submit to challenges
    Learn how to print photos (I have literally thousands of images and have printed a mere handful)
    Learn Photoshop (used an older version of Paint Shop Pro for several years, but if I'm going to do this, I want to do it right)
