Biography: All my life I knew I would do something with art. Both my mom and my dad went to college for art and graphic design. My father currently owns a sign and graphic shop and a custom airbrush business. He most recently got into the tattoo business which is really cool cause tattoos are a huge passion of mine also. I got all my drive and ambition from both my parents and growing up in an artistic household gave me nothing but the ambition to be great at whatever it was that I did. From an early age I watched my grandparents pick up a camera at every opportunity, whether it was a birthday or just a funny moment. Throughout time I realized how great it was to see moments in time through a photo album. I may not have been there in the 50’s and 60’s but I felt as if I could have been. Piles and piles of photos were always evident when you went through my grandmothers drawers and they were always a constant reminder of how great family and friends were. Memories of vacations, my grandfathers tour in the army and their wedding day, all reminded me of how happy and beautiful life really is. It made me want to capture my own moments right then and there. About four years ago I picked up my grandfathers old canon film camera and started foolishly shooting things that looked “pretty” on the beach on our vacation. When my grandmother brought the prints to me one day after she had them developed she was truly amazed, and quite frankly so was I! I realized I had a gift. An eye for the beautiful and aesthetically pleasing.
