My youngest daughter Scarlet during her nightly tub. She was very sick at the time so making a serious sad face.

Knew that I was taking a risk in entering this and figured it would be marked down since it's a kid shot, didn't think the numbers would be as low as they are but I still like the picture.

My first ribbon, not quite the one I wanted. Guess I'll have to go with the straight and narrow approach to get better voting results. Oh well, live and learn.

Humans are animals? Absolutely. It's a lovely photo that deserved better. I like the drip on the nose...I can feel it when I see it. And the tired eyes, the subdued expression of a child this age....

Too cute. LOVE LOVE LOVE how you entered your child, rather than an actual animal. I was hoping someone did, and if I had entered the challenge, I would have done it. Great shot! Nice creativity here!!!

I get your sentiment and agree, sure, humans are animals, but this is perhaps less thoughtful than the hundred cat shots in the challenge, as we're constantly around our children of this age even more than our pets, and I feel like children are shoehorned into any and everything.
Photographically- I do very much like the drop on the nose, but visually this doesn't say sick to me. I enjoy the photo as a photo of a youngster, but don't think this is the challenge for it and feel like the title could have reinforced the image more instead of taking us somewhere I don't think is present visually.

Adorable child love the drips on the nose but in an animal challenge I just don't think this one fits.
