I liked the texture and positioning in the frame on this, thought it would be a bit higher in the challenge. It's a nice shot. Especially liked the beak detail.
This bird has very interesting textures in its neck and beak, but I feel that if the photo had been taken at eye level with the bird, it would have had more impact. Perhaps a bit more contrast could help give more impact as well..
