top of win hill in the peaks was a hard hike up 1200 ft on ice, with tripod and 50lbs of camera gear, then got to the top and it was blowing 50mph winds :( but got it i think.
had an alternative that i really liked but opted for this,

just to clarify the glasses could be posed as id like because it was so windy getting them to stay where they did was hard enough, i almost lost the rose twice, the tripod went once but i caught it, i went once stumbled back down a hole but saved myself, damn wind. opted for the small bottle as it fitted in my camera bag with all my gear, full bottle i used for other shot i didnt use, i normally have some selotape(clear tape) in my bag but not this time.

Very nice idea.
The arrangement of the glasses is not terribly convincing though, and they seem to be melting one into the other. Perhaps having the stems crossing in front of the bottle or standing but tilted slightly so to touch, as in a toast, could have worked better I like the postprocessing but I would have cloned out the dark patch in the clouds, right hand side, even if it's probably a cloud. |
