I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: I appreciate landscape photography but seldom do I enjoy one as much as this. The human element adds much and your tone-mapped presentation is a perfect match for the scene. The perspective offered by the trailer is supported so well by that long dark cloud above and this slight over-exposure does much to optimise the image.
Critical stuff: The slight blue handing around the central part of the clouds looks a little unfortunate against the rest of the image.
Overall: Great stuff. Very enjoyable. |

Normally, I don't like these photos too much, but you did a wonderful job! I love this. A photo I could see hanging on my wall! |

Nicely composed -- heavy processing but still a nice scene. |

I'm not a big fan of the "HDR Look" but this really works. Like the title too. |

The PP on this is a tad overdone, but that accentuates the almost surreal isolation and off-the-road (physically and metaphorically) message of the image. The reflections in the mud puddle in the road rut is a nice touch, as is the reflection (or internal light?) in the side windows. |
