 I'm not super happy about this photo. I must have taken over 100 shots for this challenge, and this is the best I could muster (took a lot of shots of the same few subjects, but didn't have a lot of time for other/better ideas). I expect middle of the pack.

These are my wife's sewing scissors. She told me I should never cut anything with them or she would kill me! At least I get to photograph them :)

This was lit with a single flash from camera left with a small honeycomb attached. This gave me some decently dramatic lighting to play with, but also revealed the dust on the blades (stupid basic editing!). I tried to make the sharpness of the blades the highlight to this photo, while showing the brand name that is etched into the side.
