You really have to stop hanging around these places. Nice catch. |

That's quite an image! There's a few people I know who would love to have something like this in their portfolios. |

Rather you than me taking this photograph. I'm not quite too sure what's going on with the frame but I don't think this picture needed one |

Found ME you did. Ummm. Great stop motion capture, with all the droplets of water frozen mid-air. The offset frame adds tension to the shot. |

Isn't it crazy seeing this in person?
Unfortunately, it seems you may have had the same problem I had on a similar trip: no polarizing filter to reduce the glare and give more impact to the shark. |

Great timing on this capture. Way over-sharpened....not sure if you could have toned that down and still get some details in the water and shark. However, that is a once in a lifetime capture of that amazing creature.

The crew had been chumming the water for several hours. But no luck, the star of the show just wasn't to be found. Lynn had hoped the Great White could be filmed for her special on sharks.
"Hey Lynn!" shouted Tory her co-host from the other side of the deck, "maybe you should toss in a year's salary! I'm sure a bucketload of clams will get him to come out of his dressing room."
Lynn made a sour face at Tory's joke. It was a direct dig at how much more she made than him. She leaned over the railing to take one last look at the ocean's surface. At that moment, a crew member tossed some chum in and the great white broke the surface just a couple of feet from her face. Lynn sputtered out a profanity as she jumped and fell backwards on deck.
Holy crap! A sight like this would startle me out of my socks! This must have been a sight to experience, I'm sure. Great capture of the action - one I would personally not want to be physically close too. |
