Grave marker for Civil War soldier killed in action

People are wondering why this is at such an angle. I was trying to symbolize the moment of falling for the fallen soldier. Evidently it didn't work so well. Point taken...

i like the picure, very haunting, but the angle takes the edge off for me, but i really think thats going to be personal taste so good luck :)7

For me the tilt is not an improvement for the image.

Your subject fits the title and is nicely emotive, however I'm not keen on the really skewed angle.
