i wanted the scale to show hes still small, exploring around the big trees around the reservoir, looks like a river as it was blowing a gale, he got blown over in one gust of wind. took his hat off for the shot

this was my other choice

The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree!

Like the almost candid feel of this! It works well in black and white.

What agreat looking place to go exploring! The shot doesn't feel "posed" to me, more like you just called his name and he looked back. Nice one.

I 'know' it's straight, but it makes me feel like it's leaning to the right. Nice use of the light coloured jacket against the dark and sombre background but I feel like the focus should be more on your son - maybe without the river section?

Reminds me of a saying about a small sapling growing into a mighty oak. Great veiw.
