The old San Francisco Mint building, taken through a very soft-focusing 2x telephoto extender (872mm effective focal length in 35mm EQ) from the Twin Peaks overlook.

I am always fascinated by the different effects that various lens combinations can create in images.
This is a good scene for the effect your setup yielded. It's interesting that there is not more chromatic aberration around the columns in the central building. This looks similar to the effect that the 100 year old B&Lomb lens gives with the front element removed.
