Interesting that you scaled this down so much. I can't really see that tattoo. It seems more of an odd portrait than a study of a back. I can't see any skin texture or muscles, so my eye is drawn to either the tattoo or the face.

The way he's turned it is the shoulder, rather than the back. It appears the tatoo is your subject here this way. It also appears to be a portrait with the way the head is posed rather than a shot of a part of the body. It is in good focus and beautiful color and I love the background. The background is georgeous. Nice shot, I just think your subject is off. PTL

Kind of looks like a calvin klein ad. lol. Definately a body part. The background is good and the focus and clarity are good as well. I think that lighting works very well. I"m not so sure about the uncomfortable positioning of the left hand. Looks a bit odd there. Otherwise a nice shot. Good luck in the challenge.

something about this shot I really like. I think I would have liked it to be full size with 640 pixels top to bottom. The tattoo is a bit blurry, and I think I would have liked this in B&W actually. Really nice shot though.

Interesting, the flaming cross takes away a bit from the theme of the challenge for me, though.

Nice tatt, I would have liked to have seen this gently side lit to show more of the shape of the subject.
