For the Jan 2012 Blur Side Challenge.

A lovely clear still morning to start the new year. These ornamental grasses in our garden greeted me as I returned from a walk/photo outing on the beach. I've been told the aberration is from the lens itself, but it's quite unlike any lens flare I've seen before.

Getting the rays of light like this is one of the reasons I love the lensbaby so. It totaly creats a magical feel to the image.

Wonderul chromic aberation flare from the Lensbaby! They do that very well. Shooting into, or nearly into the sun creates a lot of unexpected but often intriguing results. This one is most excellent - the banding looks so nice against the gold of the grasses.
