I did a couple camping trips this month. And a few more hikes. Got several landscape shots I'm proud of, and one nice yoga pose by a shirtless rockstar on a high cliff. How to choose?

Eh, how about this one. It's fun. It's different than what I usually do.

It's probably not going to score very high, but I hope it makes you look twice.

This is a little PopIt or SnapPop or whatever brand fireworks thing. You know, you throw them and they make a little POP! when they hit something. Or you squeeze them in your fingers. The explosion is too small to actually hurt.

Anyway, this is me popping one in my fingers, right above the floor of my garage. (Picture is rotated right, cause I thought it looked like a blackboard or such, ignoring the debris.) The little bit of light of the explosion triggered the optical sensor on my flash. Camera shutter was open for three seconds, the exposure happened in one instant burst of light.

Some ugly black smudges in places due to some processing problem.
