 My grandfather's chess set.

I liked the concept for my photo more than the execution. Shot with a lensbaby on tripod, but still doesn't have that pinpoint sharpness that I really wanted to capture, that seems so elusive on the lensbaby. I also don't have a true tilt-shift lens or the technical skill to simulate it, so I didn't get that miniaturized feel that is so impressive to see. As always, though, gave me something new to think about and shoot, which is the real reason I joined the site in the first place.

i like how the guy in the middle is very clear and the rest is blurry like that little guy is the center of attention. maybe have it in black and white?

Beautiful!! Great monochromatic colors and an interesting photo. If you have gotten better focus on the central soldier, it would have been even better.
